With the World Baseball Classic in full swing, MLB stars from around the world are joining forces with their fellow stars to compete for glory.

However, the WBC isn’t the only focus for these players.

In fact, two stars are set to team up for a great cause in the Miami-Dade area.

Milwaukee Brewers star shortstop Willy Adames and reigning ALCS and World Series MVP Jeremy Pena are teammates on the Dominican National Team.

But today, they surprised some very lucky children at the “Play Ball” event in Miami.

On Twitter, Play Ball tweeted a video of the two stars while at this event.

Play Ball has teamed up with the Miami chapter of the Boys and Girls Club of America, surprising some very lucky kids as they sport their Dominican Republic WBC jerseys.

The two stars expressed their gratitude for being present at such an event and talked about their mission, which is to help these children learn the game of baseball and become a part of the next generation of MLB talent.

Adames even went as far as to say that he hopes they can teach these kids to be better than him and Pena.

This is a great cause that Adames and Pena have teamed up for and it represents a chance for so many young children to learn the game of baseball, as well as have the opportunity to meet some of the top players in the game today, one of which became a postseason hero last October.
