Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. continues to campaign for a return to the NFL after recovering from an ACL torn he sustained during Super Bowl LVI just over a year ago.

He held a workout on Friday in Arizona in front of representatives from a number of teams, and at one point, he made an impressive one-handed catch of a long pass.

To be fair, he did so in an open field, so that action alone isn’t too convincing.

Beckham’s torn ACL in the Super Bowl was his second such injury in less than an 18-month span, and naturally, there are lots of questions as far as whether he is still physically capable of being a real contributor, especially for a team that has championship aspirations.

Before those injuries, Beckham was one of the fastest receivers anyone could remember seeing.

The New York Giants made him the 12th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, and he was very prolific in his first three seasons as he put up 1,300 yards and made the Pro Bowl in each of those campaigns.

After being traded to the Cleveland Browns in 2019, he helped make the long-struggling franchise respectable, but was unable to mesh with Baker Mayfield and eventually forced his way out.

Beckham joined the Los Angeles Rams down the stretch of the 2021 season and helped them reach the Super Bowl before suffering his second ACL tear.

At age 30, perhaps he has enough left in the tank to be a nice complementary wideout for a team looking to get to the next level.
