2 Changes The Colts Need To Make This Offseason

The Indianapolis Colts are going through troubled times with their franchise this season.

While the team made several moves during the offseason this year, those moves have hurt the team.

They started 2022 by trading Carson Wentz and replacing him with Matt Ryan.

However, the move has seen them having a worse time with their quarterback situation.

This led the team to fire their head coach and replace him with Jeff Saturday.

Now, the Colts are left with no practical playoff chance and a mess in Indianapolis.

With 2022 being a wash, what two changes can the Colts make going into the offseason?

1. Make A Change At Quarterback During The 2023 NFL Draft

It’s clear the Colts have a major issue with finding a franchise quarterback.

Ever since Andrew Luck left the team, the situation for them at quarterback has been an issue.

While they found a season of success with Philip Rivers, he left after one season with them.

Now, the Colts can draft an elite quarterback with the first-round pick they currently hold.

With a new quarterback, they can start rebuilding their franchise.

2. Get Offensive Line Help

The Colts offensive line is horrible in 2022.

They have allowed 46 sacks this season, tying them for first in most sacks allowed by an offensive line.

However, their lack of domination on the line is also hurting their running game.

With the entire offense suffering, it’s clear the Colts need some new offensive linemen.

While they can do this in the draft, they could also do this via free agency when the 2023 NFL offseason begins.
