Wizards lose Delon Wright to injury

Washington Wizards player Delon Wright is expected to miss six to eight weeks of competition due to a right hamstring injury, according to the Washington Post reporter. ESPN Adrian Wojnarowski.

Wright was injured during the game held on Tuesday against the Detroit Pistons, which ended in victory for the capital interests. The ‘guard’ He played 16 minutes in that match, scoring five points.

The franchise has announced that the player will be reassessed in three weeks, although initial forecasts indicate that he could miss almost two months of regular season. That would mean not being available for a minimum of approximately twenty games.

Wright’s defensive performance has helped the Wizards start the season with a record of three wins and one loss. He has averaged 6.5 points, 3.2 assists and 2.8 steals — second best in the NBA — in 22.8 minutes off the bench. This is his first season in Washington after agreeing to a two-year, $16 million deal this summer.
