Washington, another suitor for Jae Crowder

Jae Crowder still does not play, but this does not prevent interest in his hiring from remaining high. The forward does not want to continue in Phoenix and he requested the transfer in the summer to leave the Arizona team as soon as possible. However, weeks (even months) have passed without negotiations with any team; And not for lack of suitors, since an already broad list has now also been joined by the Washington Wizards.

That is just the information that Brian Windhorst handles from ESPN. According to their sources, within the capital franchise they have studied trying a transfer to get Crowder, and they would have even picked up the phone to test the Suns and see what exactly they ask for in exchange for their player.

The reality is that if Crowder has not left yet, it is not for lack of his own desire and that of others. There are several contenders who are following in his footsteps. Milwaukee Bucks, Atlanta Hawks and Miami Heat are among them and a couple of weeks ago the transfer was almost done in what, according to journalist Jake Fischer, would have been a three-way exchange.

Once again, the main obstacle to a deal being finalized is what Phoenix wants to receive in return. Brian Windhorst comments that the Arizonans would be interested in incorporating a power forward and that Kyle Kuzma would fit them perfectly; the point is, it’s a price that seems impossible for the Wizards to pay. In the Suns plan it seems clear: wait until the last moment in search of the best offer.
