Baseball is back and games are underway.
It was a long and cold winter, but we are finally back in full swing.
The Toronto Blue Jays are certainly excited to get going, and the same can be said for their slugger and perennial MVP candidate Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
The son of Hall-of-Famer Vladimir Guerrero Sr. has certainly been an entertaining player to watch in the early stages of his career.
The 23-year-old has already helped carry the Blue Jays to the postseason twice in his young career.
Last season, he hit for a .274 average and crushed 32 home runs.
And he’s ready for some more action soon.
On Twitter, the Blue Jays posted a video of Guerrero getting close to the camera within their dugout and uttering the words, “Let’s play ball.”

It’s time to play ball indeed.
Guerrero senses it, as we all do.
Spring is in the air.
The return of baseball is always the perfect setup for the spring season.
But soon, Guerrero and others will be ramping things up just a bit.
The slugger will join the Dominican National Team next week for the start of the World Baseball Classic, which means even more baseball is headed our way in the near future.
On top of that, Opening Day is now less than a month away.
Things are about to get exciting.
Guerrero feels the excitement all around baseball and is ready to get going for yet another season, as well as the WBC.
It’s time to play ball indeed.
