The University of Wyoming isn’t typically known to churn out NFL prospects, especially at the quarterback position.

In fact, in its history, the University of Wyoming’s football team has seen just 84 players being drafted into the NFL.

Five of these players have been selected for the Pro Bowl, including the Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen.

While Allen was seen as a great prospect coming out of Wyoming, his combine tape sent him over the top.

Josh Allen is 6-foot-4, and is now regarded as one of the league’s best quarterbacks.

His size and speed make him difficult to tackle, and his arm talent is rivaled by few.

While he struggled with accuracy in his first two seasons in the NFL, Allen has turned his game around.

In 2022, Allen was seventh in the NFL in terms of passing yards, second in passing touchdowns, and ninth in total completions.

He was also the third-leading QB rusher in the league in 2022 and added in seven rushing touchdowns.

While Allen has found individual success in his career thus far, the Bills haven’t been able to make it to the Super Bowl in his tenure.

The AFC has been dominated by Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, as well as the Cincinnati Bengals and Joe Burrow.

While this competition makes for great NFL football fans, it makes the Bills’ path to the Super Bowl that much more difficult.

Will Allen and the Bills be able to shake off Mahomes and Burrow in 2023, making it to the big dance?
