The Cincinnati Reds are not expected to compete for much this season.

You could call it another rebuilding year for the Reds, as they are expected to finish last in the NL Central.

But that has not stopped their fans from coming out to support the team.

The Reds are one of the storied franchises in the MLB and have a massive fan base.

You can see the excitement from their crowd before the home opener.

One thing going for the Reds is that they play in a hitter’s park.

Fans come to the games to see runs scored, and the Reds should have no problem doing that in Great American Ballpark.

Opening Day is the one time in the season when every team can still have hope for their team.

It will be interesting to see how Opening Day starter Hunter Greene pitches this year.

This is his second MLB season, and he is a former second-overall draft pick.

He gives plenty of Reds fans optimism and can be their ace of the future.

No matter how the Reds are this season, it is good to see their fans excited for Opening Day.

Opening Day is an annual tradition in Cincinnati, no matter the outlook for the team in any given season.

Cincinnati opens the season against the Pittsburgh Pirates, in a series they can win.
