Last offseason was a period with less movement than expected. This especially affected uncontracted veterans, many of whom have found themselves unexpectedly sidelined from the league. DeMarcus Cousins, Dwight Howard or Carmelo Anthony are some examples of this. But Trey Burke was also on that shortlist, who left Dallas without shame or glory after playing 42 games last year with the Texan franchise. Now the small 29-year-old point guard arrives at the Stockton Kings, Sacramento’s affiliate in the G League, to rejoin the best league in the world.
Information shares it michael scotto for hoopshype, and it would be the first time that the player played minutes in the development league. In his nine-year NBA career, Burke has played for five different teams, although he has been in two different stages in the Mavs. During this time, the point guard has averaged 9.6 points and 3.1 assists in 20 minutes per game. In principle, the Kings do not need an external reinforcement for his rotation.
