The Tennessee Titans are looking for a new place to play their home games.
The city of Nashville is a great spot for an NFL team, but they can use a new stadium.
As we have seen with most new stadiums, they are enclosed.
That will be the case for the Titans’ stadium as well.
Many different groups need to approve the new stadium.
But, one of the big pieces was just put into place.
According to Turron Davenport, the Metro Nashville Sports Authority approved the new stadium.
Metro Nashville Sports Authority unanimously approved final documents for new Titans stadium agreement. This was the final Sports Authority vote on the stadium agreement. Metro Council approval is needed before the project is final.

This was a big step in getting the stadium proposal accepted.
Nashville is known for its country music, but the Titans are also a large part of the city.
Approving this new stadium will only increase the popularity of the city as many fans will want to see it.
Playing in Tennessee, the conditions are not always great.
So having a dome stadium is very important.
Also, the games are much better when the field is not affected by weather.
Nissan Stadium (where the Titans play their home games) was built in 1999.
So there is no question that the Titans could benefit from a new place to play.
Hopefully, everything will be approved for this new stadium and it will begin being built shortly.
