Over the past several years, the game of baseball has changed.

Some changes have been for the better, while others have drawn criticism.

One thing that almost everybody can agree on is that the game is more fun with bat flips.

Chicago White Sox star shortstop Tim Anderson is one of the most skilled bat flippers in the game today and is no stranger to letting it fly after hitting a home run.

With the World Baseball Classic underground, Team USA’s manager Mark DeRosa had one request for Anderson, and that was for him to do his best possible bat flip during the tournament.

Anderson replied by saying that he plans to oblige.

Mostly everybody throughout the game, including fans, will tell you that bat flips make the game more exciting and even add a little humor to it.

Some may not agree, but most people enjoy a nice bat flip.

Clearly, DeRosa is one of those people and is anticipating a big bat flip from Anderson.

The former batting champion is well known for playing the game with a lot of boisterous energy and wearing his emotions on his sleeves.

So naturally, if the White Sox shortstop crushes one, he’ll most likely feel compelled to do a bat flip, to the delight of his manager, teammates, and many MLB fans around the world.

This is what part of what makes the grand old game so exciting, and if Anderson does his best bat flip in the WBC, the entire baseball world will take notice.
