The New York Yankees have a good farm system at the moment.
That’s impressive considering that they have used a lot of their prospect depth to swing deals in the past two seasons.
They have traded for Anthony Rizzo, Joey Gallo, Frankie Montas, Scott Effross, and Harrison Bader from 2021 to this point.
Even with that being the case, they are in the top half when it comes to farms.
Some of their best prospects will be present in spring training, trying to impress talent evaluators and coaches.

Volpe is a consensus top-ten prospect in baseball.
He is in contention for the Yanks’ shortstop gig to open the season, but a bit more seasoning at Triple-A wouldn’t hurt.
Last year, he hit 21 homers and stole 50 bases between Double-A and Triple-A.
He is the real deal and is a future star.
Dominguez is built like a fullback, yet packs enough speed to steal 20 bases per season some day.
He is also powerful, and could be an All-Star if he develops correctly.
Austin Wells might be the Yankees’ catcher of the future and the Yankees have been reluctant to include him in trade talks to this point.
Dunham and Breaux are organizational depth, but have potential for a bit more than that.
They will be hoping to leave a good impression on Aaron Boone and his coaches.
Volpe and Dominguez (and potentially Wells) could be fixtures in the Yankees lineup for the next decade if all goes well with them.
