Philadelphia is known as the City Of Brotherly Love.

In fact, as the team plays in the 2022 World Series, it’s nice to see how fans, media, and even professional athletes from other sports are united with one goal in mind: bring the trophy to Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia Phillies were able to win one of the first two games in Houston, stealing home-field advantage in the Fall Classic.

What does this mean?

If the Phillies manage to keep up their trend of winning every playoff game at home, they will be crowned World Series champions on Wednesday night.

It’s much easier said than done, though, especially when there is a team as talented as the Houston Astros.

But if there is something in the air in Philadelphia these days, it’s hope.

A Nice Gesture By The Flyers

The baseball fever extended to hockey, too, and the Philadelphia Flyers had an enormous gesture with their Phillies friends.

“Every Flyers player is wearing a Phillies jersey for their road trip today. Phillies manager Rob Thomson would be proud. He is the first Canadian born manager to make a World Series,” NBC Sports Philadelphia’s John Clark tweeted, with a picture of the Flyers players.

It’s definitely Red October in Philadelphia.

The city is currently red, as will be Citizens Bank Park on Monday night ahead of Game 3 of the Fall Classic.

It’s hard to intimidate such an experienced team as the Astros, but that’s the idea: making them feel like they are not at home.

Philly fans will be loud and intense tonight, as they are eager to watch their team take a commanding 2-1 lead in the Fall Classic.

History usually smiles to teams that win Game 3, so tonight’s affair is crucial.
