The Panthers Could Make A Surprising Move After Big Draft Trade

The Carolina Panthers made the biggest move of the offseason so far.

They are in desperate need of a franchise quarterback, so they moved up in the draft.

Carolina traded up for the first overall pick with the Chicago Bears.

They gave up a lot, but Carolina must see a future star at the most important position in this class.

Usually, a team would only make this move for a certain player.

But, it appears that the Panthers do not have a quarterback they want in mind.

According to Dov Kleiman, there are many sources indicating that the Panthers might consider trading down if they like more than one QB.

The Panthers might do this to try and recover some of the picks they lost.

But, if they move any further back than second overall, they will most likely miss out on one of Bryce Young or CJ Stroud.

Those are the consensus top-two quarterbacks and will more than likely go first and second overall.

It makes much more sense for the Panthers to just take the quarterback they want first.

There is no reason to try and make this situation more complicated than it has to be.

If they end up selecting a future star at first-overall, everyone will forget what they traded to get the pick.

The Panthers are looking to be aggressive this offseason and who knows what other moves they might make.
