The National League East division is going to be a fun one to watch in 2023.

Last season, three teams from the division reached the postseason, with two of them winning over 100 games.

The New York Mets, Atlanta Braves, and Philadelphia Phillies are set to do battle in a top-heavy division in 2023.

It was the Phillies who went the furthest in the postseason, reaching the World Series for the first time since 2009.

But the Mets and Braves are ready to prove themselves again and battle with the Phillies for the top spot in the East.

On Twitter, MLB posted a collage of photos featuring several stars from the NL East, with a caption that read, “The NL Beast.”

The NL East may be just that in 2023.

The players in the featured photos included Matt Olson, Ronald Acuna Jr., and Austin Riley from the Braves, Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso from the Mets, and Kyle Schwarber from the Phillies.

These stars are going to make the NL East a very exciting division to watch this year.

There is a lot to look forward to, particularly when three teams in the same division have the potential to win 100 or more games during the regular season.

There will be plenty of exciting division races in 2023, but perhaps none will be quite as exciting as the NL East.

The Phillies will be without Bryce Harper for a good chunk of time, but should remain in the mix, especially after signing Trea Turner.

The Mets and Braves also look strong and should make this division an interesting one to watch.
