The NFL Shares An Important Reminder On Undrafted Players

The NFL Draft is seven rounds of teams trying to find future All-Pro players.

But teams miss on picks, a lot.

It happens every year, and the 2023 draft will be no different.

Not only do we see star players go outside the first round, but some even go undrafted.

While not every player will hear their name called during the draft, that does not mean they cannot be great NFL players.

Undrafted players are a major part of the NFL, as some of the greatest ever were not drafted.

The NFL wanted to remind everyone that going undrafted does not mean your football career is over.

There are league MVPs, Super Bowl champions, and Hall of Famers that were undrafted.

NFL scouts and GMs miss on players every year, which is why the undrafted free agent market is so important.

Going undrafted puts a major chip on every player’s shoulder.

They want to prove everyone wrong and show they can be great players.

Many undrafted players will earn their spot in training camp and will make an impact on the 2023 season.

One of the positions to keep an eye on is quarterback.

On the graphic, we see Kurt Warner, Tony Romo, and Warren Moon.

Any undrafted quarterback that finds the right situation can make an impact.

We saw that with Brock Purdy last season, even though he was the last pick of the draft.

It will be fun to see what undrafted players make an impact in 2023.

Whichever team finds an undrafted gem will get a major edge over the rest of their opponents.
