The World Baseball Classic has reached its final day.

On Tuesday night, Team Japan and Team USA will square off at Loan Depot Park in Miami to determine who the champion of the tournament will be.

Team USA won it back in 2017 and are hoping for a repeat performance, while Japan looks to dethrone them.

But with this matchup between Japan and the United States, there are two players who will be going at it who are normally teammates on the Los Angeles Angels.

It will be perhaps the two best players in all of baseball facing off against one another in Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani.

On Twitter, MLB posted a picture of the two Angels stars shaking hands after a victory and expressed their excitement for the matchup.

It all comes down to this.

It’s Japan versus the United States in the championship game, with Trout and Ohtani competing against one another for the ultimate WBC prize.

These are perhaps the two best players in all of baseball, and this is the matchup that we have all been waiting to see.

Japan pulled off a thrilling come-from-behind win over Mexico on Monday night, capped off by Munetaka Murakami’s walk-off hit.

Team USA’s path to the championship was a little bit easier, as they completely dismantled Cuba on Sunday, winning by a final score of 14-2.

Either way, both teams are red-hot, as are the stars representing them.

This should be a fun matchup between two stacked ballclubs and two of the best players on the planet.
