The New York Mets sure know how to attract people from all backgrounds and nationalities to Citi Field.

While many MLB teams lack a healthy number of promotional days and other things to get out of the routine, the Mets have lots and lots of them.

“Here’s a look at the Mets’ 2023 promotional schedule, including Starling Marte and Edwin Díaz bobbleheads and a Kodai Senga “Glow-in-the-Dark Ghost Fork Ball,” Mets insider Anthony DiComo tweeted.

Dominicans and Puerto Ricans in New York (there are a lot of them) will likely want to get their Marte and Diaz bobbleheads, respectively.

Senga’s “Glow-in-the-Dark Ghost Fork Ball” will also be a cool piece and fun night for everyone.

People want to see Senga pitch, as he has been dominating in Japan for years before signing a five-year deal with the Mets.

Other stars such as Max Scherzer, Pete Alonso and Francisco Lindor will have bobblehead nights at Citi Field.

The team also has other events and surprises in store for fans, such as fireworks night, DJ night, Pride night, and much more.

The Mets have understood that getting people to go to their stadium and actually enjoy their experience there is actually a big part of what they are trying to do.

Citi Field was extremely profitable last season, and they want that to continue.

Having lots of promo nights and events is a fine way to increase fan attendance.

Hopefully more teams are motivated by this.
