The Mavericks continue to look for several candidates to be released. After showing their interest in Terrecen Ross, who ended up finally heading to Phoenix, the Texans have now turned their attention to Justin Holiday, who arrived in Houston in the last days of the transfer market but could be cut by the Rockets. Holiday is one of those backpackers in the NBA accustomed to not finding stability in any franchise, since the Rockets are the ninth team to land in their 10 seasons in the league and, from what has been seen, they may not last many days in their ranks. It’s unclear what Houston intends to do with him, but given that his contract is up in June and he will become a free agent, his release seems like a real possibility that the Mavericks don’t seem to want to pass up.
