The Philadelphia Eagles are undergoing a massive overhaul to their defense.
After making the Super Bowl last year, the Eagles will have a roster that looks substantially different.
The Eagles had arguably the best roster in the NFL last season, and they couldn’t afford to pay a lot of their guys.
That is why we saw four of their defensive starters leave in free agency.
Some of the spots they needed to replace are defensive tackle, linebacker, and safety.
It appears that one of those spots has been filled by a former first-round pick.
According to Jeremy Fowler, the Eagles have agreed to a one-year deal with Terrell Edmunds.

Edmunds is being brought in to replace the loss of CJ Gardner-Johnson.
The former Steeler will be entering his sixth season in the NFL.
He is still only 26 years old but does not have a ton of production in his career.
In his first five seasons, Edmunds has started 75 of the 79 games that he has played.
He has five career interceptions and 26 passes defended over that time.
While Edmunds will not be a game-changer on defense, he can be a solid rotational player.
It is not just some key players that have left the Eagles this offseason.
They also lost both their offensive and defensive coordinators.
On the defensive side, it will be interesting to see how the new coach and new personnel mesh together.
The Eagles will not sneak up on anyone in 2023, as teams will be coming for them as the reigning NFC champions.
