The offensive line of the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs has been one of their unsung heroes, as they have done a great job of giving quarterback Patrick Mahomes lots of protection.
While celebrating the team’s world championship, they reminded everyone that they did not allow a single sack against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles came into the Super Bowl boasting what many thought was an excellent pass-rush attack, and they possessed four men who posted at least 11 sacks in the regular season: linebacker Hasson Reddick, defensive tackle Javon Hargrove and defensive ends Brandon Graham and Josh Sweat.
Philly finished the regular season second in total yards allowed and first in passing yards allowed.
At halftime of the Super Bowl, it appeared the team had sufficiently bottled up Mahomes and company, as it had taken a 24-14 lead while holding them to just one offensive touchdown.
But the Chiefs scored on every offensive possession in the second half, which included two passing touchdowns early in the fourth quarter that turned the game upside-down for the Eagles.
Philly allowed Mahomes to complete 21 of his 27 passes and post a passer rating of 131.8, even though he gave up only 182 passing yards in total.
What made this championship and the entire season even more impressive for Mahomes and the Chiefs was the fact that they had the best record in the AFC and won it all despite the loss of wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who was traded to the Miami Dolphins during the offseason.
Other than tight end Travis Kelce, Kansas City’s roster is relatively young, which has people talking about it potentially being a dynasty in progress.
