As the 2023 MLB season nears, the defending NL Central champion St. Louis Cardinals are set to add to a legendary list.

Very rarely do we see players playing their entire careers with just one team, but the Cardinals have a whole host of players who have done just that.

On the list of players who have spent their entire careers in St. Louis are some of the greatest to ever play the game, including Stan Musial, Yadier Molina, Bob Gibson, and Pepper Martin.

By the end of the season, the Cardinals will add veteran right-hander Adam Wainwright to the list as he plays out his final season.

On Twitter, a Cardinals fan posted a list of every player who has spent their entire career with the team, having played at least 10 seasons in Major League Baseball.

Other names on the list include catcher Tom Pagnozzi, Terry Moore, Al Brazle, and Ray Blades.

Wainwright was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in 2000, but was traded to the Cardinals in 2003 in what proved to be one of the most lopsided trades in MLB history.

Wainwright and Molina became a legendary battery that closed out four postseason series together and set the all-time record for most starts as a pitcher-catcher duo.

This will be the two-time World Series champion’s 18th season with the team, and the Cardinals will look to generate some magic in their last year with the right-hander.
