The World Baseball Classic uses MLB players to put on a great event.

Naturally, some teams have been wary of having their players risk injury in a competitive environment in March, less than a month before the start of the regular season.

The Milwaukee Brewers, however, appear to have no issues with having several players of their active roster taking part in the tournament.

They even sent a good luck message to all of them via Twitter.

“Good luck to our stars heading to the @WBCBaseball! From our MLB Roster: Devin Williams, Willy Adames, Joel Payamps, abraham bull, Rowdy TellezLuis UríasJavy Guerra,” they wrote after the rosters for all 20 teams were revealed on Thursday.

Their top rotation stars won’t be going to the event: Corbin Burnes, Brandon Woodruff, and Freddy Peralta opted to rest and prepare for the MLB season.

The Brewers are sending their best reliever, Williams, to represent Team USA though.

They are also sending their starting shortstop, Adames, and pitcher Payamps to play for the Dominican Republic.

Guerra will represent Panama, and starting infielders Urias and Tellez will be playing for a really solid Mexico team.

Toro will play for the Canadian national team.

Overall, the contingent of Brewers players going to the WBC is seven players.

In order for the event to reach its vast potential, MLB organizations need to let their players participate with little or no restrictions.

The event is excellent as it is and there are more MLB players than ever, but it can still grow some more.
