At first glance, the San Francisco 49ers’ wide receiver room seems pretty full.

They boast Deebo Samuel, who made the Pro Bowl and All-Pro first-team in 2021, and Brandon Aiyuk, who just put together his first 1,000-yard season in only his third campaign in the NFL.

In addition, they have tight end George Kittle, who is perhaps the second-best player at his position in the league, and has scored a career-high 11 touchdowns in 2022.

But the 49ers are still looking at perhaps adding a wideout or two from the free agent market.

On Friday, they reportedly visited with Laquon Treadwell and Chris Conley.

Treadwell was the 23rd overall pick in the 2016 draft after putting up 1,153 yards and 11 touchdowns in his third and final season at the University of Mississippi.

In seven NFL seasons, he hasn’t amounted to a ton, but he did have a career-high 434 yards in 12 games as recently as the 2021 season as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In all, Treadwell has played for four pro teams so far in his career.

Conley was a third-round choice in 2015, and he spent his first four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, the final one coming alongside Patrick Mahomes.

His best year came in 2019 when he posted 775 yards and five touchdowns after signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a free agent.

Last season, he only mustered 46 yards in nine games.

Other than their mainstays, the Niners also have a nice situational wideout in Jauan Jennings, as well as Danny Gray, who was a rookie last year and is thought to have potential as a speed threat.
