On Saturday night, Team USA will play its first game in the World Baseball Classic.
They’ll go up against Great Britain and send Adam Wainwright to the mound.
But it’s the starting lineup for Team USA that is truly stacked.
With MLB stars such as Paul Goldschmidt, Nolan Arenado, Will Smith, Mike Trout, Kyle Tucker, Kyle Schwarber, Pete Alonso, Mookie Betts, and others, there are many ways that Team USA could go about building its starting lineup.
On Twitter, the official account for the World Baseball Classic posted a mock lineup for Team USA, showing just how deep their offense is.
So many ways to build this Team USA lineup. What does your 1-9 look like?

Trout was projected to lead off for Team USA in their WBC opener tomorrow, playing center field.
Betts was projected to hit behind him and start in right field.
The heart of the projected order features Trea Turner, Goldschmidt, and Arenado, with Alonso projected to hit sixth in the order and serve as the team’s designated hitter.
But the bottom three of the order cannot be overlooked.
This is true in any scenario, but with Tucker, JT Realmuto, and Jeff McNeil, Great Britain, and other opponents for that matter, are going to have their hands full.
On the bench, there are also plenty of stars.
Schwarber, Smith, Cedric Mullins, and Tim Anderson are a few players who could see some reps at various points in games.
There simply is no soft spot in Team USA’s lineup, and they’ll have some quality pitching as well to help make those runs stand up.
