For years, Stephen A. Smith has become a household name on ESPN for his never-ending hot takes and hilarious rants about everything that goes on in the NBA and the NFL.
The analyst has become one of the most renowned figures in the sports broadcast scene, even taking over Skip Bayless’ First Take and having his very own podcast.
However, he wouldn’t mind a change of scenery if the right opportunity came around.
He recently threw his name in the hat to replace the legendary Pat Sajak, who announced this would be his final year hosting “Wheel of Fortune” after four decades on the job.

Stephen A. claimed that Sajak made the show a household show, stating that he and his mother loved it and adding that he wouldn’t mind hosting it for a couple of days a week.
The controversial pundit said that he would also gladly keep Vanna White—who’s rumored to be on her way out once Sajak leaves the show.
There’s no denying that Stephen A. would make up for a great host.
He’s got the charisma, the fanbase, and you know there will be plenty of laughter with his hilarious signature rants.
Still, he’s likely to make way more money on his current deal with ESPN, so the chances of him switching lanes and leaving the sports business seem quite slim at this point.
