The Boston Celtics already have a defined date for the return of Robert Williams. According to an interview by a journalist from ESPNAdrian Wojnarowski, with the player’s agent, the center is expected to be available to participate in the Christmas Day game that will pit the Celtics against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Williams is progressing well in his rehabilitation after undergoing an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee in September. The initial forecasts shared by the franchise established a recovery period of between eight and twelve weeks which, if his participation in the nba christmas day, they will have been fulfilled. At the moment, she has begun to participate in exercises of three against three.
The interior established himself as a starter last season and emerged as the Celtics’ defensive anchor on their way to the NBA Finals. The team has started the course with a balance of 14-4 without him, but Wojnarowski himself believes that the management will study the market in order to incorporate another center.
Previously, it had been shared that the Celtics have an interest in the big men of the San Antonio Spurs, Jakob Poeltl. In addition, the organization has two trade exceptions worth $5.8 and $6.9 million that could be used to bolster that position.
