After undertaking the firing of Terrence Ross, who will play for the Phoenix Suns, the next person who could leave the Orlando Magic is the young RJ Hampton, say sources from the media orlando sentinel.
Formed in the Australian league, he came to the NBA through the 24th pick of the 2020 Draft, being selected by the Milwaukee Bucks, but immediately transferred to the Denver Nuggets.
After just one season in the Colorado franchise, he would be sent to the aforementioned Magic in the operation for Aaron Gordon. In Orlando he has played 116 games spread over three courses with figures of 8 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 20.8 minutes per day.
He is currently receiving a salary of 2.4 million dollars, and those from Florida reserve a team option for 2023-24 valued at 4.2 million.
