The 95th edition of the Academy Awards — which will take place at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California — will once again have some top-notch entertainment, with Comedian Jimmy Kimmel back to host them for the third time in his career and Rihanna stealing all the headlines.
Notably, Rihanna herself already had plenty of reasons to look forward to this ceremony, as she was actually nominated for an award.
She’ll perform ‘Lift Me Up’ from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever official motion picture soundtrack, which is nominated for Music (Original Song) alongside tracks from Top Gun, RRR, Everything Everywhere All at Once, and Tell It Like a Woman .
Rihanna drew plenty of praise for her 13-minute performance in the Super Bowl, putting the world on its feet with some of her most famous hits while also announcing her pregnancy in the most incredible fashion.
She’s now officially back in the public eye after having her first child with A$AP Rocky, and it’s quite evident that she has no plans of taking another break any time soon.
So, Stephen A. Smith might not be thrilled with the news, but the rest of us will definitely be tuning in.
