Opening Day is almost here.
We are now just mere days away from having the opportunity to watch another exciting MLB season kick off.
2022 was full of surprises and excitement, but the 2023 season promises to bring even more of that.
For the Boston Red Sox, this is a year with a lot of question marks.
Last season, they finished 78-84 and fell short of the postseason.
They also lost Xander Bogaerts and JD Martinez in free agency.
But that hasn’t dampened their optimism or excitement for the 2023 season.

Monday marks three days until the new season starts.
The Red Sox themselves will be opening up the 2023 season at home against the Baltimore Orioles, with newly signed right-hander Corey Kluber getting the ball on Thursday.
To make up for some of their losses, some interesting pieces were added, and with just a few days to go before the season starts, fans in Boston won’t have to wait too much longer to see Adam Duvall, Masataka Yoshida, Justin Turner , Kenley Jansen, Richard Bleier, and Kluber in action.
That’s something to be excited about if you’re a Red Sox fan.
Rafael Devers is also back, and the team won’t have to worry about him entering free agency.
They were fortunate enough to extend him during the offseason.
It won’t be long before Red Sox fans have a chance to see their star in action for yet another season.
