June is now in full swing.

We have now reached the third month of the 2023 MLB season.

As the season rolls on, we are starting to see who the true contenders are and who may ultimately end up throwing in the towel come the trade deadline.

One thing that has remained constant over the past several weeks is the Tampa Bay Rays holding the best record in baseball.

Led by stars such as Shane McClanahan, Randy Arozarena, Yandy Diaz, Wander Franco, Brandon Lowe, Harold Ramirez, and Isaac Paredes, the Rays got off to a 13-0 start.

Tyler Glasnow has also returned, making the Rays even stronger.

And in the latest edition of the MLB.com power rankings, Tampa Bay remains on top.

The Rays are 42-19 and own a four-game lead in the American League East division over the Baltimore Orioles.

Not far behind them on the power rankings list, however, are the Texas Rangers, who have won eight of their last 10 games and own a 38-20 record.

The Orioles are third on the list behind the Rangers and Rays.

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves round out the top-five portion of the list.

The defending World Series champion Houston Astros kick off the bottom half of the list.

The Arizona Diamondbacks, New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays, and Minnesota Twins make up the last four spots.

But three months into the season, it’s the Rays who are still on top.
