That’s how it is. The NBA market is heating up – the great example is the transfer of Bradley Beal to Phoenix – and New Orleans and Portland are not far behind; so much so that at this point in the film they could be shaping what would be a great move in the hours leading up to the draft (June 22).
As reported by Bill Simmons of The Ringer, the Louisiana organization seems increasingly convinced to move Zion Williamson. A few days ago we pointed out that it was a possibility and now, two days before the draft, it seems that they will at least talk with other teams (Blazers and Hornets) to reach a position that allows them to get Scoot Henderson, their main objective at the moment.
While the agreement with those from North Carolina seems more complicated, since they do not have the urgent need to win now, with those from Oregon it aims to be much more feasible. The Blazers, with the threat of Damian Lillard’s possible goodbye, understand that it is the summer of going all out to get a competitive team, and of course, with that goal it is likely that they will move their pick 3.
