Weeks ago, when the Green Bay Packers ended their season with an 8-9 record and missed the playoffs, many felt that Aaron Rodgers had played his last game for them.
He wasn’t even sure if he wanted to keep playing, and he said he would go on a “darkness retreat” in order to look within himself and determine what he would do next.
That retreat has now ended, and photos have emerged of where he spent his time during that retreat.

Rodgers’ reputation has taken quite a hit over the past year or two, as he dragged the Packers through a big contract dispute last offseason, and during the 2021 season, he lied about being vaccinated against COVID-19, then promoted conspiracy theories about such vaccinations.
His numbers dropped somewhat this past season, and it was the first time since 2010 that he was healthy yet failed to be voted to the Pro Bowl.
Still, there are a few teams around the NFL that see him as a somewhat valuable commodity.
The New York Jets have reportedly shown interest in him, although it is unclear whether they would be willing to give up enough draft capital to land him.
There were also rumors that the Las Vegas Raiders may have interest in him, although it seems increasingly unlikely that they will even consider that possibility.
In recent days, the odds of Rodgers remaining with the Packers, the only pro team he has ever played for, have increased, and if he does so, it looks very unlikely he will ever win his second Super Bowl championship.
