Philadelphia wants to buy a 2nd round of the 2023 Draft

According to media information PhillyVoicethe Philadelphia 76ers are in negotiations to buy a future second round of the next 2023 Draft, since they currently do not have any round in their possession.

Manager Daryl Morey would be looking for a player for his rotation at ‘low cost’, and would have received the go-ahead from management to process said purchase. Recently the Sixers would have scheduled private training sessions with several young university students ahead of the next draw that will take place on June 22 in Brooklyn.

Harden’s future

The latest information suggested that James Harden would end up renewing with the Sixers to continue linked to the project of Joel Embiid and Daryl Morey. However, the Rockets still have their chances, as they would offer him more money and more years on his contract.

Rockets owner Tillman Fertitta wants to establish a winning culture under new coach Ime Udoka, and in addition to the interest in James Harden, other players linked to the Texan franchise have included Brook Lopez, Dillon Brooks, Fred VanVleet, Paul Reed, Jalen McDaniels, Georges Niang, and Shake Milton.

Milton’s future is closely linked to Harden’s in Philadelphia, since the point guard would be looking for a guy looking for more weight in the rotation. If Harden finally stays in Philadelphia, Milton has already made it clear to Morey that he would like to find a new team to get more playing time.

Last year he played 76 official games (11 as a starter) with figures of 8.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 20.6 minutes per day.
