The Los Angeles Rams won it all in 2021, with everything coming together after the blockbuster trade with the Detroit Lions to acquire star quarterback Matthew Stafford.

However, the 2022 NFL season went much differently for the defending Super Bowl champions, as the Rams were never able to reclaim their dominant form, leading to a dismal end to the season.

One of the main reasons for the team’s issues in 2022 was Stafford’s injury problems, which never seemed to improve.

In 2023, Stafford will be back healthy and ready to get back to work, with Peter Schrager of Fox Sports believing the veteran quarterback can still throw the football as well as anyone in the league today.

One significant difference for the 2023 campaign is that Stafford and superstar wide receiver Cooper Kupp will be back healthy and ready to prove they’re still one of the best quarterback-receiver combos in the league.

When healthy, Kupp is in the conversation for being the best wide receiver in the NFL with Minnesota Vikings star Justin Jefferson and Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders.

If Stafford and Kupp play up to their potential while staying healthy, the Rams will be a threat in the NFC once again with a potentially powerful offense.

The running back position is still a question mark with everything that happened with Cam Akers last season, and wide receiver Allen Robinson has been rumored to be on the trading block after his disappointing season in Los Angeles.

Although the odds may be against the Rams, Los Angeles still has the talent to make some noise and can do just that in 2023.
