Pat McAfee has become one of the most successful former NFL players in the past decade.

The former Indianapolis Colts punter has developed a strong, ever-growing fanbase, and it’s made him insane amounts of money.

According to Andrew Marchand of The New York Post, McAfee continues to ponder walking away from his $120 million contract with sportsbook giant FanDuel, with ESPN emerging as the leading candidate to acquire his services.

The 36-year-old has become an online sensation with the Pat McAfee Show on YouTube, also making occasional cameos as a WWE personality and recently having his own broadcast on College Gameday.

Marchand claims that sources close to both parties state that a deal is almost imminent, and McAfee recently shared a picture of him meeting with Disney CEO Bob Iger.

McAfee has teased his fans with a big move for months now, and he did it again on Monday.

The 36-year-old claimed that he would make a big announcement in the next 10 days, all but raising speculation about a potential deal with ESPN.

Of course, the details of a potential deal have yet to be disclosed, but the report states that he could be looking at eight figures a year with ESPN.

The approach is also unclear, as it’s unlikely that ESPN will air the three-hour show daily.

However, considering how big of a fan base he’s grown over the past couple of years, it’s evident that this could be a money-making machine for both parties involved in this deal.
