As of April 12, Aaron Rodgers is still a member of the Green Bay Packers, despite his intention to play for the New York Jets.
While both sides deliberate adequate trade compensation, players and fans alike have echoed their thoughts on the situation.
In recent comments with the Wisconsin State Journal regarding the situation, Elgton Jenkins said, “It’s a new chapter, we’ve got to embrace that and just move forward.”

Jenkins’ comments are also seen in a Yahoo Sports article provided above.
The Packers are slated to move ahead with Jordan Love at the helm, the first time they’ve had a full-time quarterback change in nearly two decades.
Jenkins, a four-year NFL veteran, has made his presence felt on the Packers’ offensive line.
He has never been a part of the Packers without Rodgers, and commented “It’s a new chapter,” and “We’ve got to embrace that and just move forward.”
As many Packers fans would agree, the team will look significantly different without Rodgers as the starting quarterback.
The Packers did move up in the 2020 draft to select Love, much to the chagrin of their fanbase.
With Love as the quarterback, the Packers are in for several organizational changes.
Will they be able to compete for the NFC North title, given the multiple upgrades that the other teams within the division have made?
