One QB Prospect Is Reportedly “Crushing” The Interview Process

Across the NFL, fans, observers, and scouts are very intrigued with next month’s NFL draft because it will feature a number of quarterback prospects who are thought to have a very high ceiling.

Bryce Young of the University of Alabama, Ohio State University’s CJ Stroud and Will Levis of the University of Kentucky seem to be the top three QB prospects in the minds of many.

Anthony Richardson, who just wrapped up his sophomore season at the University of Florida, ranks lower than Young, Stroud, and Levis on most people’s draft board, but he has reportedly been impressing teams at the NFL Scouting Combine during the interview process, especially when it comes to his intelligence.

Of course, talent and skill are very important for any athlete, but so is character, and one’s character cannot be fully seen until he is brought in for some one-on-one interviews.

Richardson’s stats as a passer aren’t that impressive, as he threw for 2,549 yards and 17 touchdowns while also throwing nine interceptions.

But the two advantages he could have over the aforementioned prospects are his stature (he is 6-foot-4 and weighs 236 pounds) as well as his running ability.

In 2022, he tallied 654 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 103 attempts.

Richardson may not be one of the first several players chosen on the first day of the draft, which means he could fall to a team that has some offensive talent but just barely missed out on the playoffs.

If he lives up to his potential, he could really turn around the fortunes of such a team fairly quickly.
