Over the weekend, St. Louis Cardinals slugger Nolan Arenado added to his already elite resume, as he hit his 300th career home run.
That home run guided the Cardinals to a 6-0 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday night.
It was Paul Goldschmidt who won the NL MVP Award last season, but Arenado finished third in the voting behind his Cardinals teammate and Manny Machado.
But with that 300th career blast, Arenado joined some elite company.
He is now one of eight players in MLB history to have hit at least 300 home runs and have won at least 10 Gold Gloves.

Also on the list are Willie Mays, Ken Griffey Jr. Mike Schmidt, Andruw Jones, Al Kaline, Johnny Bench, and Ivan Rodriguez.
Arenado and Jones are the only two players on the list to not be in the Hall of Fame just yet.
But with the way Arenado’s career has gone thus far, he seems to be headed for the Hall if he keeps this up.
This was Arenado’s first home run of the 2023 season.
He finished last season with 30 home runs and had been sitting on 299 homers for his career.
That is no longer the case, and now Arenado is in some legendary company.
The 31-year-old is hitting .351 to start the season and has posted an OPS of .849.
The Cardinals have been off to a tough start, but if Arenado keeps hitting, they’ll have a chance to turn things around in a hurry and flex their offensive muscle.
