The Panthers have moved up to pick one, and the Packers could be adding another first-round pick. It is time for The Sports Stove’s first mock draft that predicts the entirety of round one. See how I predicted the top ten picks previously, here.
1. Carolina Panthers
QB CJ Stroud, Ohio St: The Panthers have their choice of QBs. At this point, it is just a guess, but I have said since the end of the College season, Stroud could and probably would jump up. Stroud fits what the Panthers coaches like, and will go number one.
2.Houston Texans
QB Bryce Young, Alabama: Young is the best QB in the draft, but teams are scared of his size. The Texans get their QB of the future at two.
3.Arizona Cardinals
OLB Will Anderson Jr, Alabama: Anderson is considered by many as the best player in the draft, and Arizona gets him at three. The Cardinals could get a good trade offer to move down in round one, but as of now, they stay here.
4. Indianapolis Colts
QB Anthony Richardson, Florida: The signing of Gardner Minshew allows the Colts to take a chance on the QB with the highest upside.
5. Seattle Seahawks
DE Tyree Wilson, Texas Tech: The Seahawks can be patient at QB, so they take the second defender of the draft in Wilson.
6. Detroit Lions
CB Christian Gonzalez, Oregon: I really think Lukas Van Ness is at play here, but if the Lions cannot move down a few picks they will not reach for the Iowa DE and will take the top CB in the draft.
7. Las Vegas Raiders
OLB Nolan Smith, Georgia: The Raiders coaching staff does not have the luxury of drafting a QB that cannot help them save their jobs this season. McDaniels will look to add an impact player here, and Nolan Smith will be that.
8.Atlanta Falcons
OL Peter Skoronski, Northwestern: The Falcons land the top Offensive linemen in the draft as they look toward the future with their young QB.
9. Chicago Bears
OL Paris Johnson Jr, Ohio State: The Bears have added weapons, and missed out on a top OL in free agency. So they add Johnson in round one to help protect Justin Fields.
10. Philadelphia Eagles
DT Jalen Carter, Georgia: The Eagles have the perfect locker room to mentor Carter. With an aging D Line, Carter provides strength for years to come.
The rest of round one:
11. Tennessee Titans: DE Lukas Van Ness, Iowa
12. Washington Commanders: (Trade with Houston) QB Will Levis, Kentucky
13. Green Bay Packers: (Trade with NY Jets) CB Devon Witherspoon, Illinois
14. New England Patriots: WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Ohio State
15. Green Bay Packers: DE Myles Murphy, Clemson
16. Houston Texans: (Traded down with Washington) WR Quentin Johnston, TCU
17. Pittsburgh Steelers: CB Joey Porter Jr, Penn St
18. Los Angeles Chargers: (Trade with Detroit) RB Bijan Richardson, Texas
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: CB Emmanuel Forbes, Miss St.
20. Seattle Seahawks: TE Michael Mayer, Notre Dame
21. Pick forfeited by Miami
22. Detroit Lions: (Traded down with LAC) OL Broderick Jones, Georgia
23. Baltimore Ravens: WR Jordan Addison, USC
24. Minnesota Vikings: WR Zay Flowers, Boston College
25. Jacksonville Jaguars: OL Darnell Wright, Tennessee
26. New York Giants: OLB Keion White, Georgia Tech
27. Dallas Cowboys: DT Keeanu Benton, Wisconsin
28. Buffalo Bills: S Brian Branch, Alabama
29. Cincinnati Bengals: TE Dalton Kincaid, Utah
30. New Orleans Saints: DT Bryan Bresee, Clemson
31. Philadelphia Eagles: CB Deonte Banks, Maryland
32. Kansas City Chiefs: WR Jalin Hyatt, Tennessee
