NFL Insider Gives New Details On Aaron Rodgers, Jets

The NFL offseason seems to be full of quarterback drama.

We have already seen Derek Carr sign with the New Orleans Saints.

Then, Lamar Jackson was given the non-exclusive franchise tag, allowing him to negotiate with other teams.

But, one player who seems prone to be traded is Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

It appears that the Packers are ready to move on from Rodgers and turn their franchise over to Jordan Love.

But, they need to figure out if Rodgers plans to keep playing or not.

Even though Rodgers does not have a no-trade clause, he could retire if he does not like where he is being traded.

So, the Jets will have to make sure that Rodgers will play for them before they consider making a move.

According to Tom Pelissaro, there is not a deal in place between the Packers and Jets as many have recently reported.

Rodgers has taken a very long time to decide what he wants to do.

The Jets and Rodgers have already met to discuss possibly teaming up.

But, Rodgers has not given them a clear decision on if he would play in New York.

If the Jets do get Rodgers, they would be right there with the Bills for AFC East favorites.

The Packers seem adamant about the fact that they will not move Rodgers within the conference.

It will certainly be interesting to see where the four-time MVP ends up.
