The Washington Commanders finished the 2022 season with an 8-8-1 record, looking to vastly improve during 2023.
After their 2022 season, the Commanders have been surrounded with controversy, but not about their on-field play.
Dan Synder, the team’s owner, has faced much scrutiny and is likely to sell the team as a result.
Recently, Snyder has declined to be interviewed ahead of the NFL’s second investigation of him and the organization.
NEW: Daniel Snyder has declined to be interviewed by Mary Jo White thus far as she conducts the NFL’s second investigation into him and the Commanders. White is expected to make at least one more attempt. desde @NickiJhabvala, @lizclarketweet and me….https://t.co/qYD15a2696

This second investigation is going to happen, whether Snyder wants it to or not.
While it appears that the NFL’s team will attempt to interview him again, it’s not looking overwhelmingly positive for Snyder’s camp.
After this announcement was made about Synder declining this interview, NFL fans certainly made their feelings heard.
Not surprising. No lawyer will allow their client to give statements voluntarily with potential criminal liability

As this fan states, a lawyer is unlikely to let their client give a statement without them present.
Whether Snyder is guilty of what he’s accused of remains to be seen.
However, things aren’t looking great for him, especially given his recent decline to be interviewed.
While being silent isn’t necessarily an admission to guilt, some fans believe that to be the case.
If he won’t talk he’s guilty

As this fan says, Snyder’s quiet nature indicates that he might be guilty.
Either way, these investigations have been long and drawn out, at least, in the eyes of some fans.
This Mary Jo investigation has taken way too long.

Although many Commanders players and fans are just trying to look ahead to the 2023 season, this investigation has put a damper on that.
What’s next for Snyder and the Commanders, as this investigation into his behavior continues?
