The Seattle Seahawks didn’t treat Bobby Wagner the way he deserved to be treated.
They didn’t even let him know that he was going to be released, and that’s no way to deal with a team legend.
Notably, though, they now have the ultimate opportunity to right that wrong, as he’s about to be released again.
And after days of rumors and speculation, Seahawks GM John Schneider has confirmed that he’s been in touch with Wagner and talking about a potential reunion, as reported by Wyman and Bob.
John Schneider just told us on @SeattleSports in regards to Bobby Wagner potentially returning, “Pete and I were able to talk to him the other day, and we had a great, awesome, frank conversation. He knows where we are, and we know where he is at.” #Seahawks

Wagner spent ten seasons in Seattle, becoming a fan favorite and one of the most dominant players in the league at his position.
So, unsurprisingly, this news was met with quite a lot of enthusiasm from Seahawks fans, knowing that this might as well be Wagner’s final stop before walking away from the game once and for all.
This is cool.

Which means far apart on money. He is a plug ‘n play all-star LB. Make it work unless he wants to much $$$ I suppose.

The Rams struggled vastly on both ends of the field last season, but he still managed to have a good year individually, so his release has nothing to do with his production—or lack thereof.
It’s become evident that the Seahawks are way ahead of schedule in terms of their rebuild, and they could use more depth at the linebacker position, so this doesn’t come as a surprise at all.
Wagner is one of the most accomplished players to ever wear their jersey and a guy that should be inducted into their Hall of Fame as soon as he decides to call it a career.
