It’s not every year that a prospect wows every single scout at the NFL Scouting Combine.
But Will Anderson Jr. isn’t an ordinary player, and one doesn’t have to be a football savant to realize that.
The Alabama product was incredible in college and has made a strong case for being taken first overall on April 27.
And his physical measurements and numbers at the combine have only reaffirmed his status as the potential best player in his class.
As a matter of fact, NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah pointed out some of his NFL comparisons in terms of physical traits, 40-yard dash times, and 10-yard splits, and they were quite encouraging.
Apparently, Anderson is quite similar to Khalil Mack and DeMarcus Ware, so the expectations would be quite high for him coming out of college.

As of now, the Chicago Bears are in possession of that first overall pick, and they would be wise to revamp their defense with a potential generational player who’ll be a difference-maker from the very first snap of his professional career.
Of course, things could also change in the blink of an eye if the Bears trade down or use that pick to land Bryce Young, as that would likely make him slide to the third spot, with the Texans using their pick to land CJ Stroud.
Whatever the case and regardless of where he plays, Anderson has the makings of a defensive superstar, and hopefully, he’ll live up to that potential in the league for years to come.
