All it took for the New York Jets to turn things around was a solid offseason.
Robert Saleh’s team excelled in the NFL Draft, continued to stack the roster with more promising talent, and they made an immediate impact.
Besides having one of the best defenses in the league, the Jets got some elite offensive prospects as well.
However, Zach Wilson’s terrible play held them back more often than not, and Mike White’s injury all but doomed their season.
It became evident that the Jets are one QB away from being a legitimate threat out of the AFC East, which is why they’re likely to pursue Aaron Rodgers, should he become available.
However, sports analyst Max Kellerman believes the Jets would be better off by pursuing Derek Carr, as he’s now a free agent and wouldn’t cost them any draft picks.

Well, one could make a case for both scenarios here.
On one hand, you have the future Hall of Famer, a top-10 quarterback in league history, which should be a no-brainer.
But it’s also a fact that he’ll demand a steep salary and a bunch of draft compensation and his record in Championship Games is far from impressive.
On the other hand, you have a guy that you can just pay without giving up draft capital but who also has a long track record of underperforming when it matters the most.
Also, Kellerman is the guy who chose Andre Iguodala over Steph Curry to take a three-pointer, so maybe we shouldn’t take his assessments all that seriously.
Truth be told, the Jets have a good problem on their hands right now, and it seems like they couldn’t go wrong either way here.
