NFL Analyst Admits He Was Wrong About Joe Burrow

Joe Burrow and Zac Taylor have completely turned the Cincinnati Bengals around.

Taylor’s tenure in charge of the team couldn’t get off to a worse start, and it seemed like it wouldn’t be long before he was out of a job.

But the Bengals have done an outstanding job of revamping their roster around Burrow, who also didn’t need a lot of time to prove that he could be a generational talent if given an NFL-caliber offensive line.

Notably, some analysts thought the Bengals were in for a bit of a Super Bowl hangover this season.

Jason McCourty predicted a tough year for the Bengals, as they didn’t get off to a solid start to the season, and their revamped offensive line looked even worse than last year’s.

That’s why McCourty took some time to revisit his words and admit that he couldn’t have been more wrong, as Burrow is the real deal, and he’s managed to overcome adversity and lead the franchise to another trip to the AFC Championship Game.

In just two full seasons, Burrow has taken his team the distance, and he’s a win against Patrick Mahomes away from another trip to the Super Bowl in as many years.

Of course, getting past the Kansas City Chiefs will be easier said than done, but the LSU product holds a 3-0 record over Andy Reid’s team, even winning at Arrowhead Stadium.

So, yeah, people might still consider the Chiefs to be a big favorite, but Burrow has beaten the odds way too many times in his young career already.
