On Monday, right-hander Duque Hebbert experienced a moment that he will never forget.
Hebbert is currently a part of Team Nicaragua and saw some action on Monday against the Dominican Republic.
All he did was strike out Juan Soto, Julio Rodriguez, and Rafael Devers.
It ultimately earned him the opportunity of a lifetime, as the Detroit Tigers had a scout present for the game, ultimately signing him to a minor league contract.
On Tuesday, the 21-year-old right-hander got the chance to talk about how it feels for him to have earned such a unique and exciting opportunity after his impressive showing.

Hebbert discussed what was going through his mind as he entered the game to face Soto, Rodriguez, and Devers, three of the most feared hitters in the game today.
He said he was very excited for the opportunity and saw it as a unique challenge.
Hebbert was also asked what his reaction was when he found out that the Tigers had taken a chance on him.
The right-hander expressed joy over the opportunity and recalled his teammates hugging him to congratulate him on his impressive accomplishment.
The 21-year-old said that he got too emotional, and that he even shed a few tears of joy in the process.
Hebbert now has a chance to prove himself with the Tigers and rise through their farm system.
It’s not every day that a young pitcher gets a chance to face three of the best hitters in the game and strike them out, only to later find out that a Major League team decided to take a chance on him.
