MLB The Show has made an exciting announcement.
Each year, the game features a number of certain retired players who appear as they did when they were in their primes.
The same can be said for some current players who are past their primes but have versions of their prime selves in the game.
Yesterday, MLB The Show announced the addition of another legend.
Slugger Carlos Pena is the newest addition.
On Twitter, the announcement was made, which also featured an animated version of the former All-Star and Silver Slugger in his Tampa Bay Rays threads during the prime of his career.

Pena hit for a career .232 batting average and had a grand total of 286 home runs.
He also posted a career WAR of 25.5, picked up a total of 1,146 hits, scored 745 runs, and had an On-Base Percentage of .346 and a Slugging Percentage of .462.
Pena made his MLB debut in 2001 with the Texas Rangers.
He was a part of the Oakland Athletics team in 2002 that won 20 consecutive games, but was traded at the deadline to the Detroit Tigers.
He also made brief stops with the Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Houston Astros, and Kansas City Royals.
Pena spent the majority of his time with the Rays, having played five seasons in a Tampa Bay uniform.
The veteran was a part of the 2008 team that made a surprise run to the World Series.
Pena is just the latest addition to the game, and more exciting features will soon be revealed.
