We are now less than three weeks away from the official release of MLB The Show 23.
The 2023 edition of the hit video game features Miami Marlins star Jazz Chisholm Jr. on the cover of the standard edition and Hall-of-Famer Derek Jeter on the special “Captain Edition.”
Those who pre-ordered the game can get early access on Friday, March 24.
But this year’s edition will feature a nice touch.
With the World Baseball Classic back in full swing for the first time since 2017, the latest update to the game will feature WBC players and uniforms for each country.

This is a nice touch to the game.
In addition to the Negro Leagues being featured in the hit video game, the World Baseball Classic has also found its way into the game.
Players from different countries that some fans may not have ever heard of will even be featured in the game, which is a great way to expand the standard fan’s knowledge of this great sport and just how many people around the world it has reached over the many years.
Fans in the United States will enjoy the opportunity to play as Team USA and experience some of the stars that are already on the team and have been around Major League Baseball for several years.
But the reach will expand around the world as well, with players from teams such as Great Britain, Team Canada, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico being featured in the game.
