Baseball is certainly an exciting game to watch.
But what often gets taken for granted and in some cases swept under the rug are the sights and sounds of the game.
As fans, we enjoy it for what it is and what we see on television or at the ballpark.
But there’s something different about baseball.
There’s a certain feeling that comes with the game that may not be felt in other sports.
It can’t be explained or broken down, but rather, it’s best to take it in.
The crack of the bat and the sound of the ball being caught are two of the most relaxing sounds in all of sports.
On Twitter, MLB posted a brief compilation video of all the sights and sounds of the game.

There really is something different about the crack of the bat.
It’s a sign that spring is in the air and a new season is approaching.
It’s a sign that the weather is about to get warmer.
The sights and sounds bring hope and joy to those who enjoy the game.
But when the ball hits the bat or the glove, it brings a calming presence.
Fans and players alike begin to dream about Opening Day and the possibility of their teams finding themselves in the midst of a pennant race.
And of course, everyone will begin to dream about the postseason and the World Series, hoping to see their team go as deep as possible so that they can hear the crack of the bat and the pop of the glove just a little while longer.
